OS Reunion -Dubai 18 Nov 2009

On friday the 13th Nov 2009, the Middle East Chapter hosted its 3rd reunion. We were honoured to welcome Mr Jerry Bains the OSS president who visited Dubai to attend this event. The evening took place at the prestigious Emirates Golf Club.
The theme being Indian, it was great to see all OS and spouse of OS make the effort to dress up in their finery and everyone looking elegant. We had 35 OS and SOS attend, some of whom are regulars at the reunions and a few who attended for the first time. Amongst them was also Mr Randeep Rai and his wife and SS Bala who had flown from Chandigarh with Jerry to attend the event. The evening was quieter than the previous Do's probably because of the ambience at the golf club is pretty formal. Jerry had brought some Sanawar souvenirs which were sold at the venue.

There was the usual round of speeches from Jerry, Mr Ashok Shahani who celebrated his batch golden Anniversary, Mr Gagan Sidhu SOS and Sanil Juneja the youngest OS attending and myself.

Look forward to welcoming many more OS from the Middle East and around the world on our next Reunion expected to be held in February 2010!
