Sanawar News-Facility Tour of Sanawar students at Dell Computers

On 29th March, a group of 45 students of grades 7-12 along with two subject teachers, Mr Manish Ghai and Ms. Shruti Pandit, reached the Dell Computers office located in Mohali for a Computer Trip. The Dell staff extended a warm welcome and were highly cooperative and answered children’s queries with utmost interest and made a presentation about the Dell’s founder and the company’s history along with other information about latest technologies available in the market and their technicalities. There was a question and answer round where the children raised their queries about supercomputers and other various kinds of 3rd generation technologies being developed in today’s world. There was also a tour of the various functional departments of the company and an interactive session where the children were shown the internal parts of the computers.

This trip was made possible with the help of Mr. Deepak Ohylan (OS 85) who went out of the way to arrange it. We extend our gratitude and heartiest thanks to Mr. Deepak Ohylan and the Dell staff for their patience and co-operation and look forward to have more such interactions.
