Mr E Sequeira passed away on 2 May 2010 in Pune. He was suffering was alzheimer's. He taught English in Sanawar from 1970 to 1999. He went on to become the Head of Faculty of the English Dept. He was also Housemaster of Vindhya Boys and also soccer and badminton coach and the Editor of the Sanawar newsletter.

He will be remembered fondly by his colleagues and students.
He is survived by his wife Melcy Sequeira and children, Deven, Rahul and Sonali.
