"Even though I was a pretty rotten student till Upper Five, I always knew that once I had a chance to concentrate on the subjects I liked, I would be a good student. So in Lower and Upper Six I was able to take art and literature and developed an interest in studying the history of India and Islamic Art. Also Mr. Bhalerao's encouragement in art class helped (he always said "you are a good girl…my lad!"). Then of course the schools'motto- Never Give In. (I tried to remember that even when I was struggling with Maths and Chem.")
