Has written an authorized biography of Mother Teresa (Sinclair Stevenson UK '92), which was subsequently published in 14 languages worldwide. Co-authored with photographer Raghu Rai, Faith and Compassion-Life and Times of Mother Teresa, is a pictorial essay. (Published in '97 in UK, USA, Spain and Holland). Royalties from the book benefit the Mother Teresa charities and also fund a leprosy trust called Lepra India which help provide vocational rehabilitation to the handicapped and leprosy-affected youth.

"Life in Sanawar was like that in a military school--very strict and very disciplined. Having said that, it helps me cope with any situation I find myself in. It has lent me flexibility and adaptability. The school motto 'Never Give In' has unconsciously over the years become part of my ethos."
