Profession/position - Retired from the Airforce in Jan '96 as Air Officer Commanding- in-Chief. (AOC in C) South-western Air Command. Was responsible for the air defense of the entire border, south of Ganganagar right upto Goa.

"The most predominant spirit was to strive, never to give in, aim for the best…humility, not to differentiate between religion, caste and creed, to believe that everyone should be treated with respect, irrespective of ones station in life. Also one learnt to do 'ones' own thing' without having to rely on someone else to do it for you. Learnt how to make a neat bed and polish my shoes to a fine shine!"
