Profession/profession - Principal, Progressive Education School, Indore. Founded the school in 1996, which now has 640 students. Retired prematurely from the Indian Army (Armored Corps) after 22 years. Later joined Daly College, Indore, in 1988 as a teacher and later became its Principal in 1993.

"Joined school as an overweight, shy introverted child and quite a non sports person. Was thrust into boxing by the house, as there was no one of my weight! It changed my attitude towards sport and similarly into declamation contests; this started my interest in public speaking and dramatics…it was survival of the fittest. I remember school mainly with gratitude, that it prevented me from becoming a wimp."
