Profession/position- Presently Director Projects for Umeed Khanna Foundation, an NGO focusing on rural healthcare and social welfare projects in Punjab. Retired from the Indian Army in 1996. Gold medallist from the IMA. Joined the Artillery and later changed to the 61st Cavalry in 1972. Commanded the regiment form 1990- 92. In 1982 participated in the Asian Games and won the Gold medal for Individual Tent Pegging. Recipient of the Arjuna award in 1983 for Equestrian Sports. Captain of the Indian Polo Team 1990-93, with a career best of a plus-5 handicap. Represented India, here and abroad.
